White Wax, 5 drachms [1.25 tablespoons]
Spermaceti, 2 drachms [substitute Jojoba Oil, 1.5 teaspoons]
Oil of Sweet Almonds, 1 ounce
Oil of Rose, 8 drops
Alkanet Root, 1 drachm [3/4 teaspoon]

Heat the oil of almonds and alkanet together on slow fire. Melt the wax and sperm [jojoba oil] and add the two together; when nearly cold add the perfume and stir well.
