Valuable Gift to Schools

A valuable addition of books to their library has been received by the Damascus public schools, the gift of Hon. W.B. McCord of Salem, state representative from Columbiana county in the Ohio legislature.

The books embrace Howe’s Historical Collections of Ohio in two volumes and the Ohio Archaelogical Reports in 15 volumes. They cover the history of Ohio in a concise, interesting and thorough manner, and are highly appreciated. The hearty thanks of the schools and its patrons go out to Mr. McCord for his kindness.
